Free roof inspection: know where your roof stands
You rarely see a roof up close. During an inspection we look everywhere: from the tiles or roof covering to the underlay, the joints and the gutters.
You receive photos of what we find and advice with priorities: what is fine, what needs attention and what can wait. The inspection is free and without obligation; you are not committed to anything.

- You are buying or selling a home
- The roof is more than twenty years old and has never been checked
- After a heavy storm or hailstorm
- Before solar panels go on the roof
- If there are damp patches or a musty smell in the attic

How we tackle it
Agree in advance
We ask about the reason, the age of the roof and any earlier problems, so we know where to focus.
Onto the roof
We inspect the roof covering, ridge, valleys, joints, penetrations and gutters, and the attic where possible.
Report with photos
You receive the photos with an assessment of each part and advice with priorities.

Questions about free roof inspection
Is the roof inspection really free?
Yes. The inspection and the advice cost you nothing and you are not committed to anything. If work is needed, you receive a quote. Whether you accept it is up to you.
How long does an inspection take?
For an average home about half an hour to an hour. A large roof or one that is hard to reach takes more time.
Do I need to be at home?
Preferably yes, so we can also look in the attic and discuss the findings with you straight away.
Is an inspection useful before solar panels are installed?
Yes. Panels stay on the roof for twenty years or more. If the roof has to be replaced within that time, the panels have to come off first. Better to know that beforehand.
